HELP & CALLING GUIDE

Help with your next call.

Check your numbers, Caller ID and account before calling. If a call does not connect, use the guide below to find the next step.

BEFORE YOU CALL

A few checks for a smoother connection.

  1. Enter the complete international number

Use the country code and the correct mobile or landline format for the destination.

  2. Verify and select your Caller ID

Choose an eligible verified number you own or are authorized to use. A saved or pending number is not the same as a verified, selected Caller ID.

  3. Check your account and the applicable rates

Make sure you are signed in, have sufficient calling credit and have completed any required account checks. Phone-to-phone has charges for both connections.

  4. Use the right connection for your calling method

App and browser calls need a working internet connection and microphone access. For phone-to-phone, both ordinary phones must be able to receive a call.

Caller ID

Some destination networks accept only a verified Caller ID and reject calls with no Caller ID or an unverified number. Others may restrict Caller IDs from the destination country, even when verified. Follow the guidance for the destination you want to call.

How do I add and verify a Caller ID in the Android app?

Open Caller ID, then Manage Caller IDs or Add number. Choose the country and enter a number you own or are authorized to use with its international country code. Choose Mobile or Landline. Mobile numbers can use SMS or a verification call; landlines use a verification call. Request a code, enter the latest four-digit code, then check that the account shows Verified. If you already received a code, use I already have a code.

Is a saved or verified number automatically used on my calls?

No. Adding, verifying and selecting a number are separate steps. After the account confirms Verified, choose Use this Caller ID or explicitly select that verified number before your next call. The Android app does not automatically replace your choice with another number.

Why might a destination refuse my Caller ID?

Two different policies can affect a call. To prevent abuse and fraud, some destination networks accept only verified Caller IDs and reject calls with no Caller ID or an unverified number. Other national operators may refuse a Caller ID from the destination country, even if it is verified. Dellmont, our calling provider, attributes these national restrictions to destination operators and authorities; 007VoIP cannot override them. Use an eligible verified number you own or are authorized to use. Verification does not override every destination policy or guarantee connection.

What if my Caller ID is from the country I am calling?

A call to a country using a Caller ID from that same country may be restricted. For example, Dellmont has reported Hungarian Caller IDs being refused for calls to Hungary, with a valid Caller ID from another EU country offered as an alternative. Where the destination network requires verification, that alternative must also be verified. The app may recommend an eligible verified European or different-country Caller ID for certain destinations. Only use a number you own or are authorized to use. These restrictions vary by destination; ask support if you do not have an eligible number or the call still fails.

Can I try No Caller ID instead?

Only if the destination network permits it. In the Caller ID menu, No Caller ID may be an alternative when the selected number is restricted for a destination that accepts calls without Caller ID. It will not work when calling a destination that requires a verified Caller ID: calls with an absent or unverified ID are rejected there. Check the destination advice or ask support before changing the selection. No Caller ID does not guarantee connection or anonymity.

A verification error appeared, but the code or call arrived. What now?

An error or timeout can leave the result uncertain; it does not necessarily mean that no code or call was sent. Use the latest code you received, continue verification and refresh the account status afterward. Do not request repeated deliveries immediately. Follow any displayed retry limit; if a daily limit is reported, wait for it to reset before trying again. Contact support if the status stays uncertain.

Why are Webphone calls still blocked after I verified a Caller ID?

A payment-related phone verification requirement is separate from ordinary Caller ID verification. If your account asks you to verify a specific required phone number, follow that account notice. Verifying a different Caller ID does not clear the restriction. Calls remain blocked until the account service confirms that the required check is complete. Contact support if you cannot access the required number or the restriction remains.

Connecting calls

A rejected or unanswered call can have several causes. Start with the message shown in your app or account, then check the number, account and connection. Outbound calls to the USA are currently restricted; USA phone numbers remain available to buy.

Can I buy a USA phone number while outbound calls to the USA are restricted?

Yes. USA phone numbers remain available to buy; the current outbound calling restriction does not prevent number purchases. Buying a number and placing an outgoing call are separate services. Outbound calls to the USA are currently restricted. Purchasing or verifying a USA number does not remove that restriction. Contact support for guidance on current calling availability.

Which phone number format should I use?

Enter the complete international number, starting with + and the country code. For example, a UK mobile example is +44 7520 ••••••. Domestic prefixes differ by country: do not remove every leading zero automatically. An Italian landline example retains the zero, as in +39 06 ••••••. Check the correct destination format if the number is rejected.

The call fails or never rings. What should I check?

Check the destination number, your sign-in or registration status, calling credit, account notices and internet connection. Confirm that the destination is reachable and that calls to it are available. Review your selected Caller ID if the app gives a suggestion for that destination. A busy or unavailable destination, a network problem or an account restriction can also prevent connection.

Does error 480 or 500 prove a Caller ID problem?

No. These are general failure responses and do not establish the cause on their own. For calls to certain tested European destinations, the Android app may show a Caller ID suggestion alongside the error. Follow that suggestion only with an eligible verified number you own or are authorized to use. If the problem repeats, contact support with the error and destination rather than repeatedly changing numbers.

The call connects, but I cannot hear or be heard. What can I do?

For app or browser calls, check microphone permission, mute, speaker or headset selection and your internet connection. A Bluetooth headset may be selected instead of the phone speaker. Try a stable connection and confirm the other person can hear you before continuing a long call. For phone-to-phone, check the audio settings on the two ordinary phones. If audio still fails, end the call and contact support.

Should I keep retrying a failed call?

Wait until the previous attempt has ended. Recheck the displayed error, number and account status before trying again. Avoid starting several attempts at once or repeatedly requesting verification codes. If the same problem continues, contact support; repeated attempts do not guarantee a connection and connected call legs may incur charges.

Phone-to-phone

007VoIP calls your callback phone first, then the destination. The callback number and the Caller ID presented on the call are separate choices.

My callback phone does not ring. What should I check?

Check your callback number in international format and make sure that phone can receive an ordinary call. Check its reception, Do Not Disturb and blocked-call settings, along with your account status. If the first phone never answers, the destination connection cannot proceed. Contact support if the attempt still fails.

My phone rang, but the other phone did not connect. What next?

Answer your callback phone and stay on the line while the destination rings. Recheck the destination number and whether that phone is available. A destination restriction, including Caller ID policy, can prevent the second connection. End the unsuccessful attempt before starting another one and contact support if it repeats.

Do both phones need an app or mobile data?

No calling app or mobile-data connection is needed on either ordinary phone for the conversation. You need internet access to set up phone-to-phone from your account. Your phone answers first, then the destination phone answers.

Which connections are charged?

Phone-to-phone places a call to your phone and a call to the destination. Check the applicable rate for each number before starting. Both connections and their individual durations contribute to the total; do not treat it as a single destination-only call. Contact us to check phone-to-phone availability for your account.

Still having trouble connecting?

Tell support the calling method you used, the destination country, the time and timezone of the attempt, the error shown and which phone rang. Include the Caller ID verification status. Share full account or phone details only through the support channel when requested.
